Great burger, I mean really, really, OMG really good burger. I ordered the Pure burger, added beacon 😋 got some fries and a soft drink (free refills) what can I say except it was cooked perfectly med-well the fries are skin on fresh real potato french fries,cooked crispy and salted perfectly. They have a good menu it even has vegan items 😋 they also serve beer and wine. The staff is friendly and courteous the restaurant is clean and well maintained. It’s interesting to see this has a rating of 4. We had a fantastic experience. Looking places to grab a burger and settled on Pure Burger Bar strictly from the menu online. The prices seemed extremely fair compared to other low end places. We placed an order for carry out, scheduled for pick up at 1:15, arrived at 1:09, waited about 5 minutes to get food and it arrived promptly at 1:14. We ordered the Bird Burger, Spicy Smash Burger and one each pure/season fry. Spicy Smash was delicious. It was a good size, cooked well, had just enough spicy zing to let it be enjoyable. The Bird was decent too, keeping in mind it’s a burger joint, the chicken was slightly dry but it was still tender enough for us to not care. The flavor was there and again, quite good. The fries are fresh cut similar to five guys, and of course by the time I got home they were a little cold and limp. 3 minutes in an air fryer took care of of that though. Over all this was a great place to get a good restaurant level burger at a decent price. ~ Shadrack G

I absolutely love the quality of the food and service. the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is not what you would expect. There was loud Latin music playing in the kitchen that you had to listen to in the dinning room which might have been ok if this was a Mexican restaurant. When I told the High school kid working there about the problem he didn't have the guts to talk to the kitchen staff. This is a great restaurant business model that needs a manager to manage the staff. ~ Warren H

Best burger I have ever tasted. It’s perfect. The premium ingredients are amazing. I urge you to try it. It has a perfect simple menu: burger options including chicken, bison and vegan; fries, salad, beer, cocktails. It’s a perfect price point. Order at counter but I tip properly anyway because it is so good. Besides, the two young men running the show on a saturday night got it done right. There is a comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. This place deserves to be a staple in san clemente. Ignore all the negative reviews. ~ Jack G

I want to start by saying how amazing Jenny and Danya were today. 10/10 amazing employees! The restaurant is really clean and has ample seating. You can't beat the prices and the food I just yum, I stupidly finished my food before I took a picture so bad on me. They also have a drink maker and it gets the job done! The only hiccup would be that the parking lot is a little small. However people do not care because this place is still PACKED. ~ Ashton S

I ordered online so I could quickly drive by and pick it up. Honestly one of the easiest places to just grab and go for a really nice burger and fries. Definitely beats a fast food drive through whos prices are about the same now anyways. Not to mention they have great options for almost every dietary restriction. It is a bar of course, but I have yet to go back for sit down. However, I will definitely be back soon. ~ Tyler L

I'm SO happy to finally have a local place I can go to for a Burger! Since I only eat Grass Fed/Finished meat my options are usually limited. I had the Goat Burger and it was Delicious! Nice clean place/friendly staff. I love that there are GF options (bun/lettuce), Dairy Alternatives (goat cheese), and Bison as a beef alternative. to mix things up. Good selection of drinks also. WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! OMG 😇 That was a Great Burger! I mean the burger was "THE" "Bomb Dot Com" OK, so I'm thinking to myself "self, I'm hungry for a burger" and I remembered Pure Burger Bar in San Clemente, now let me be honest I've driven by this place a hundred times and because I'm a Burger guy, I kept promising myself to stop in but never did, I am so happy I came in today. I was really in the mood for a good burger and road all the way out here from The City of Orange to get my "Burger Mack On" 😋 OK where do I start, fresh everything the burger came with two beef patties cooked med-well with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions I added beacon 😋 on a fresh bun of your choice, with fries (real skin on potatoe french fries) and a free refill soft drink. They also serve beer and wine and have a great menu also with vegan burgers and non beef items. The staff is friendly and courteous, very clean restaurant well maintained with a great vibe with music in the background and sports TV on the wall. Stopped here on our way back home. Saw it before and decided to give it a try. It was totally worth it. Great tasting burgers and even better fries. Prices are pretty decent given the typical high price burgers that are out there. 2 burgers, 2 fries, and even 2 cocktails (yes, they serve cocktails) for less than $40. I have Celiac disease and am very sensitive to cross contact. Pure burger not only has AMAZING food for a great price they also have a separate grill so us with celiac can eat here safely. My husband was even shocked on how amazing the food is. Soo worth checking out. To add to the review my husband got the bison burger and I got the goat burger which has the jalapeños, bison and goat cheese. ~ Rochelle T

First review I ever posted. Me and a friend of mine walked walked inside and order a bison burger (first time) it came with seasoned fries(which were perfect). Let me tell you, I don't even care for burgers i can barley eat a full one without pqssing it iver to my kids . But that was so mouth watering, so delicious, i ate 2 that day I wish I could give them 25 stars. Open back up soon ~ Eugene J

By far to date, the best thing ever put in my mouth, the bison GOAT burger, at Pure Burger Bar! Lemon Tumeric Healthy Soda, respectful friendly staff, incredible atmosphere, I will bring everyone I know here! Vegan options were available however, the grass fed bison is another thing all together! I saw salad too on the menu! Enjoy, friends! ~ STAR G

1st time here , 10 min till closing time it's 5 of us and we were serviced . Ofocurse fantasticly , the food was absolutely amazing. I don't live near here but would without a doubt would come out here for the food. Thank you for taking the time and not making us feel uncomfortable even though you were already closed . ~ Sergio G

We were a big fan of their Carlsbad location so were excited when we found out about their new location. The burgers, loaded fries, and shake were all delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only suggestions are to get the shakes out quicker so you can enjoy with the meal and to also add Swiss back as a cheese choice. ~ Samantha S

Great new addition to the burger places here in San Clemente, great variety of burgers between bison and regular beef as well as vegan options. Great selection of beer, cool interior and nice staff. I dealt with Carla on a matter that was my fault regarding a charge and couldn’t be happier about how helpful she was. ~ Anthony T

Fantastic burgers amazing fries 995 for a double cheese great deal ! message to the owner. One time I was in you had the thicker fries, which are fantastic. Maybe have both versions available? Only small complaint is really uncomfortable chairs, but I’ll be back at least once a week ~ jack h

Found my new burger place! Great all-round! 1st time there was this Friday...will NOT be my last! I had their Bison Burger, with Goat Cheese, roasted Jalepenos, and caramelized diced onions... And don't forget the fries... seasoned fries.. ( fingers to lips) molto bene! ~ Debby L

I came here when it opened, and it was expensive. But recently they DROPPED their prices and now it’s a great deal. $10 burgers regardless of toppings + reasonable fries. The loaded fries with chicken were amazing. ~ Brian F

The loaded fries here rival In-n-out animal style fries, soo good. And they have $5 craft beer on tap, unreal deal! My vegan burger was pretty good, not great, but everything else was very impressive. Prices are reasonable ~ Jeff Z

The greatest hamburger ever. Fries were great. Each hamburger can be made anyway you want. Add or delete items from menu at no extra cost. I got the kids burger since it was the only one with a single patty and it was fantastic ~ Marsha N

Got the Goat burger with seasoned frys and a mint lime healthy soda. Everything was delicious, made to order and fast service. They accidentally made my order twice so I left with a free burger and fries. Will definitely try again. ~ Eric c

Finally stopped in to try their burgers. Pleasantly surprised that the burger was tasty and the chicken fries were really good as well. Great beer selection and some decent wine. Sure hope they survive we need some decent eats on the south side. ~ J. B
